Geena davis is a famous American actress who has been a movie star for over 50 years. Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice star and performer in Mensa was a part of Stuart Little. The actress won an Golden Globe Award nomination for her role as Dottie on A League of Their Own. Her role as Muriel in The Accidental Travel which was a 1988 drama film won her the Academy Award for best supporting actress. She was the main role in Beetlejuice - an American horror comedy film from 1988. It was written and starred with Tim Burton. Davis is well-known for her acting in TV and film. Davis has also received praise for playing genuine, strong women as well as being a champion of women's rights working in the industry. From the beginning, she discovered a love for music. When she was just a teenager, she had learned piano and the organ. Davis attended Wareham High School and was an exchange student from Sandviken Sweden getting fluent in Swedish. After achieving Junior College All-American accolades, she was accepted into Arizona State University. However, her doubts led her to give up football. After this she transferred to California State University Fullerton and received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and a minor in human resource. It was in Los Angeles, after her studies in business management and human resources she pursued modeling for a job. When she was searching for work, she found a casting notice for W.W.E. By chance, and impressing the talent-scouts following a trial of four weeks. After this she officially moved from her home in Orlando Florida to begin her classes at the Performance Center.
